*****IMPORTANT NOTICE******
For all players bringing their own Airsoft guns to the field:
There is NO YELLOW CLASS AT THIS FIELD.
If your gun shoots above 1.49j (check the fps chart to reference BB Weight and FPS MAX limits for 1.49j) IT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED FOR USE IN PLAY!!!
The only guns allowed to shoot above 1.49j will be BOLT ACTION RIFLES - up to 2.23j.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS BEFORE YOU BRING YOUR YELLOW CLASS GUN TO THE FIELD AND WE HAVE TO TELL YOU CANNOT USE IT!
If you are not sure if your Airsoft gun shoots above 1.49j please reference the FPS Chart on this wesite
"MOST" new airsoft guns, AEGs, Gas Pistols will shoot under 1.49j out of the box. If you are unsure of the FPS/J your Airsoft gun shoots and would like to make an appointment to chronograph prior to a gameday contact info@viairsoft.com.
ALL AIRSOFT GUNS WILL BE CHRONOGRAPHED ON SITE PRIOR TO GAMEPLAY ON EVERY GAME DAY!
WHY IS THERE NO YELLOW CLASS/DMR ALLOWED AT THIS FIELD? I ONLY HAVE 1 GUN THAT IS YELLOW CLASS OR SPENT A GREAT DEAL OF MONEY BUILDING A VERY NICE DMR! IT'S NOT FAIR!
Due to the size of the field, which is smaller than most other fields on the island. Also due to the amount of structures and cover that is placed very close together in some areas.
During playtesting we discovered that Yellow class guns are very quickly outside of their minimum engagement distance.
We're calling it an "Outdoor CQB field". It plays fast and engagement distances are all around closer than any other field on the island. Most indoor CQB fields have similar rules as this, for the same reasons.
So for player safety and the enjoyment of ALL the players that come out we are standing by this ruling.
Thank you for understanding.
